ABOUT THIS CLASS
Poetry is everywhere--in books, bathroom graffiti, instruction manuals. In this workshop, you’ll push the boundaries (and anxieties) of language, unearthing new poems within existing texts. Along the way, you’ll get your hands dirty with ink, paint, markers, x-acto knives. Consider yourself part literary archaeologist, part bard. All in the name (and journey) of creating your own unique erasure poems.
All materials provided. No literary experience necessary; just a willingness to experiment with language!
(Also, your ticket includes a free drink.)
Erasure is a physical engagement with language.
Anyone can perform erasure. No literary experience is necessary.
Experiment with your own erasure poems in a safe and creative space.
*We offer workshops on a sliding scale. If you'd like to attend the workshop but $20 is too steep, let us know at email@example.com.
